What an absolutely beautiful cottage in a tranquil stunning location.The host has thought of everything to make the stay wonderful. The information folder provided covers absolutely everything and more! From cleanliness to the beautiful bedding and an abudance of home comforts this host has excelled herself in the first class service she provides. We had a fantastic day kayaking on the river where the host organised 10% off. The local pub was lovely with such friendly folk a large beer garden and great food and a very short drive down the road were more places to eat and drink. This cottage is evrry bit true to the photos,wonderful experiance and truly looking forward to our next stay. Graham and Jules.

I just had a few magical days staying at Cobble Cottage - and WOW, what a truly special and stunning place it is. The cottage itself is just perfect with Debbie, the owner, having thought of everything you'll need and more. The furnishings are high quality throughout (comfiest sofas ever) with a really well-equipped country cottage kitchen (a great size), super comfy beds and quality bedding, and soft fluffy towels. Everything is spotlessly clean throughout, and while being modern and up-to-date (WiFi is great btw), the cottage certainly retains its old-world charm. Cobble Cottage has been styled beautifully and is a joy to stay in.

The absolute icing on the cake though is the incredible and uninterrupted view from the cottage - better than any photos can show. It was hard to drag myself away from it! An absolutely stunning vista from the living room, the spacious balcony, the main bedroom - day as well as night - where you can watch the tide coming and going, people out on boats, the wildlife and birds, the twinkling lights on the water... not to mention the incredible night sky. Who knew there were so many stars?! And we had the bonus of a shooting star right over the water one evening.

The walks in the local area from the cottage are plentiful and suited to all abilities, and the local pub is a gem as well as the local shop for supplies. Everyone in the village was so friendly and welcoming. It's easy to get to local towns like Fowey for exploring the cute shops, harbour and amazing restaurants, plus the coves and beaches for rock-pooling or lazy days swimming and sunbathing. In fact most of Cornwall is easily accessible from the cottage, though rest-assured Lerryn is off the beaten track and as peaceful as you could ask for! It certainly deserves the name 'Lovely Lerryn' and I wouldn't hesitate recommending a stay here. Thank you for being a wonderful host, Debbie! :)
